The Allan Vigil dealerships family has always been as (vigil)ant in our philanthropic efforts as we are in our commitment to provide customers with an excellent car buying experience. This holiday season that tradition continues. From now through December 2nd we are partnering with two incredible charities: Toys for Tots and Operation Gratitude. We need your help to make the holidays brighter for deserving families.
Here are the two ways you can help:
- Do a test drive: From now until December 2nd we will donate $15 to Operation Gratitude every time you complete a test drive one of the many wonderful vehicles in our dealership. After your test drive, fill out a short digital form and we’ll make a $15 donation in your name. A $15 donation is enough to assemble and ship one care package to United States Service men and women.
- Donate a new unwrapped toy: We are extremely proud to be a drop-off site for Toys for Tots again this year. Toy donations will be accepted now through Dec. 2nd. (Donations are tax deductible).
Operation Gratitude is a nonprofit organization actively compiling and creating care packages, letters of appreciation, making crafts, sending DVDs and snacks and much more to our currently deployed service members, veterans, crisis relief first responders and their children. The goal of Operation Gratitude is to say thanks and express our appreciation for their personal sacrifices and help boost their morale. For more information about the Operation Gratitude or to get involved, click here. More than 100,000 care packages are sent to these heroes by Operation Gratitude every year.
Toys for Tots has provided Christmas toys and books to children of needy families for more than 60 years. Nearly six million toys are given out each year and more than 216 million children have been Toys for Tots recipients.
